Noooo more Braces!!!!! ~(>o<)~

On January 30, 2013...
I finally got my braces off! It was about a year & a half that I had braces on.

Feels so weird now that I got them off... I have room to move my tongue and well, it's so much easier to eat now xD lol. I can finally talk w/out stuttering.

It feels so good! I don't think I have any good pics of me smiling & showing off my braces lol. I hate smiling w/my teeth showing. But here's a pic I found when I still had my braces... It's so awkward to smile this way >.>

Took about 2 hours to take them off& then sign some paperwork as well as talk to my orthodontist about my retainer.

I thought I was gonna have to get the wire retainers (the ones with the steel & plastic piece that touches the roof of your mouth or goes under your tongue), but I luckily got the plastic clear retainers. It's kinda like invisalign or the teeth whitening things that snap onto your teeth/gums.

My orthodontist gave me some of these snacks as a congrats gift for finally getting to remove my braces xD
lol... All the things I couldn't/didn't eat when I had them on.

 I was also given a cleaner for my retainers.
All I have to do is add warm water to it, add a cleaning tablet (for retainers/dentures), and put my retainers in it. It vibrates & cleans in 15-20 minutes.

I have to wear the retainers for 24hrs/day for 4 weeks then after that, just at night.

Woo hoo!!! Freedom!!! Not really... LOL
